The youth of SSYC set out to reach community members and educate them on proper dental health. There are many misconceptions about dental health, especially among members of low income neighborhoods. With DentaQuest behind them, this beautiful group of young people put their heads and hearts together and created a vision: to raise awareness in their community about bad dental health and the serious implications behind it. They worked hard all summer see to their vision materialize and here it is. Jamile (16), Ismael (14), Jazaiha (14), Daniel (14), Leisha (12), Cassandra (13), Carlos (13), Caterah (12), Edgar (14), Steven (16), Jasmine (12) and Thalia (15) are the beautiful young people that made made this project happen and made their community better.
